Work on the operating mechanism should be carried out only when the springs are in discharged condition and the circuit breaker is in open position.
Quarterly Maintenance :

Replace the parts if wear and tear is more. |

Gear wheels should be lubricated ensuring that no grease comes into the friction clutch. Wipe off if it is there. Grease 784 is to be used. |

Apply rust preventing medium on untreated surfaces of iron and steel. |

Check operation of motor. |
