Only the following officers and employees (who are not in work charged establishment) are authorized to enter the power houses and sub-stations:

(1)

Chief Engineer

All power houses and sub-stations of the organization.

(2)

Personal Assistant (System Operations)

(3)

Superintending Engineer

(4)

Controlling Officer

In his grid control, in all the power houses and sub-stations.

(5)

Executive Engineer

Only in all power houses and sub-stations in their respective areas.

(6)

Assistant Engineer

(7)

Staff of subordinate electrical and mechanical engineering services (S.E. and M.E.S.)

(8)

Operating Staff

When they are on duty, then in their respective power stations and sub-power stations.

Except above mentioned officers/ employees under item (1) ,no other officer/ employee should enter in power houses or sub-stations except when authorized officer/employee mentioned above accompanies him or he has signed work permit or the visitors permission-form with him.

No outsider is allowed to enter inside a power-house or sub-station except visitors who must sign in standard visitors permission form. In all cases person mentioned above in item (1) must accompany him. His post should not be below subordinate Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Service (S.E. and M.E.S.). The permission for visiting the power house will be only granted by person whose post should not below subordinate Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Service (S.E. and M.E.S.).
